In the space of a few months, French DJ / producer Yuksek has managed to win over clubbers worldwide with his unique and identifiable electro sound: a touch of pop, groovy distorted beats, restless rhythms, acid sounds conveying a psyche-rock madness, a touch of hip hop here and there, and of course the melody that he weaves track after track without weakening the dancefloor efficiency in any way. Yuksek's live shows, performed solo with electronics supplemented with vocals from the man himself, have been playing to hysteric crowds.
From the biggest European clubs (London's Fabric, Berlin's Maria Club and of course Paris's Rex Club) to the most prestigious festivals (Transmusicales de Rennes, Printemps de Bourges, Sonar in Spain) by way of New York (Tribeca), Australia and other American cities... everybody has been blown away by Yuksek live shows and explosive mix sessions. This summer, you can catch him at Global Gathering in the UK, Isle of Wight, or Montreux Festival etc... Australia will celebrate his sound during the massive Park Life Tour late September.

After a series of 12"s (on Relish, I'm a Cliché, Uwe...) and the Klanguage album project (Rise records) on which he collaborates, Yuksek is currently readying his first album. With his crisp, sharp productions, he's established himself as one of the leaders of the new French scene, attracting the attention of such artists as Shit Disco, M83, Wu Tang Clan, Birdy Nam Nam, Chromeo, Adam Kesher, Van She and Mika for his hip, hard-hitting style of remixes.
