Lee Mortimer

Lee Mortimer (AKA Sawtooth Sucka) has been steadily making waves with his productions and DJ sets by taking every opportunity to supply ears with exciting, sleaze-filled fidget house.
Having started with the humble Commodore Amiga before he was even a teenager, Lee has now firmly established himself as a top-notch recording artist and has had tracks and remixes on CR2, Front Room Recordings, Made To Play, Justin Long's .dotbleep Recordings, Chris Duckenfield's Odori, Aquasky's Passenger Records (Lee's remix of 'Call Me' by The Bodysnatchers is in the Buzz Chart right now) and many more. Dave Taylor's Dubsided Records have recently knocked on the door too and his Latest Hits EP now has a full vinyl release.
No prizes for guessing then that love for Lee's tracks has come from all corners of the dance music world. This includes support from Switch: "Lee's one of the most exciting producers and DJs in the UK right now. You have to check him play... I don't think anyone can touch him for that sound at the moment.", Pete Tong who dubbed Lee's track 'Crazy' as "one of the largest tunes" at the WMC 2007, Claude VonStroke who licensed 'Mush' for his ‘At The Controls' CD, Diplo, Dave Spoon, Crookers, Annie Mac, Jesse Rose, Paul Woolford, Micky Slim, Derrick Carter (featured 'When It Comes' on his Ministry of Sound Sessions CD) and loads more to boot!

Lee's DJ-ing roots are in the underground, sweaty clubs, late nights, Stella Artois and Sambuca. This motto has followed him wherever he has played including as far a field and San Francisco (EndUp), Chicago (Smart Bar) and Lithuania, plus all of the UK's top spots- Ministry Of Sound, Turnmills, 333, The Egg, Back To Basics, The Custard Factory etc. An Australian tour is also pencilled in for November.
Lee has been rewarded for his passion and hard work by being picked by Ministry of Sound to be their brand new monthly resident. Lee takes to the decks at the world renowned club on August 23rd 2008.
Now concentrating his efforts into his own label, Wearhouse Music, Lee has come into his own with his production creativity and A&R skills with all tracks getting majorly caned!
